Review

Cramming seven seats into a mid-sized MPV seemed an impossibility until the Zafira came along. Now this model is the one to beat, with an ingenious third row of seats that simply folds into the floor. As if that weren't good enough, the Zafira is also great to drive and comes with a choice of several strong engines. The fastest is the GSi Turbo, which really moves, or there's a more cost-efficient 2.0 diesel. Only the rather dull interior is disappointing. If you need the seats without the extra size, this is the car to buy.
