Review

The Sports Coupe is a genuine head-turner, with fabulous looks and that coveted badge on the bonnet. Despite the coupe tag it is quite roomy inside and, as you might expect, build quality is first class. It's not such an enthusiastic drive as the rival BMW 1 Series but ride more than makes up for that. Coupe prices start high and go even higher, with optional equipment just inflating the bill. The high performance Kompressor engines are not as good as you might expect but the 220 diesels are among the very few compact diesel coupes on the market.
