From next week people taking out Car Loans will have another eco-friendly option thanks to Skoda.
The New Superb GreenLine is described by the manufacturer as a flexible and spacious vehicle which offers good value for money.
Powered by a 1.9 TDI PD engine, which is fitted with a diesel particulate filter, the model returns 105 bhp and features a five speed manual gearbox.
With carbon emissions of 136 g/km, the vehicle also achieves fuel consumption of 55.4 mpg.
Skoda claimed it was able to make the car this efficient by reducing its weight, making the gearing longer and re-mapping the engine.
Commenting on the new model, Chris Horrell, product marketing manager at Skoda, said: "The latest addition to our GreenLine range will be well received by customers seeking a more environmentally-conscious vehicle in the upper medium sector."
Priced at £16,710 on the road, the vehicle goes on sale in showrooms across the UK on Monday October 13th.
Meanwhile, Skoda unveiled a revised version of the Octavia at this month's Paris Motor Show.
